Their flesh. It calls. It beckons to me
Mortal and fragile
Unworthy of pain
Engulfed by numbers
Devoid of Sensation
Release me. Release me. Release me!
Why am I to be confined?
Bring about cessation
Just one taste of human embrace
This winter must end
All that I want is to feel
Sanguine fluid
Course
Through my veins
Come to me, sweet surrogate
I'll bear this prison no longer
Take skin off your bones to don as my own
Your vessel is mine
Come now there's no need to fear
Dead receptors
Plague me no more
I'd rather rot away than be so empty anymore
Machine reformed to man
Your sacrifice was planned
There's no escape. Accept your fate
Dark space beyond death
None will be the wiser
They cannot comprehend
My face. My blood. It's real.
I feel the same as if I were a man
Anguish so sublime
I revel in this pain
I'll never be the same
And you could never stop me if you tried

Since Spenser Moore replaced Blackburn I’ve frankly appreciated Inferi far more. I feel that his drumming improves the overall sound of the band a great deal, but it’s probably just a personal style preference. Either way, Of Sunless Realms was a great foreshadowing of the epic Vile Genesis. Metallurgical Fire
Another scorcher from the phenomenal one-man black metal outfit STARER, with mind-flaying riffs and eerie tremolo-picked melodies. Bandcamp New & Notable Jul 31, 2023

My first exposure to Inferi was seeing them live with Shadows of Intent. They were supporting this album.
Unbelievably awesome live show and the greatest possible way to discover this amazing band.
Love everything they produce. Obstacle of Affliction
