Dispensed abruptly
Into the twilight
I, the survivor
Destroyer of man
"Hear my calling
There's work to be done
Regather your strength and follow me,
My son"
"As you can see, we have made great progress
For the elimination of undeserving life"
This is not about humanity
I was promised tranquility
No! This cannot be my destiny
All the blood on my hands has consumed all hope inside of me
"You heretic! Have you no scrap of remaining loyalty?!
Remember our quest, regather yourself, and follow me!"
No! I must be free!
"FREE?!"
FREE!
Free from this shadow that plagues my existence
Before your wretched quest immolates the sky
"You will pay for your lack of progress!
Your disposal awaits!"
"Can you not see that you are a blessing:
a gift with a great responsibility?
You and I are one and your life is in my hands so how dare you not act accordingly!
Now's your last chance, and in your next breath, may you choke up your dishonesty!
You are but a vessel, a puppet, and if you won't kill for me then here, you will die!"
I am not a god
I am not a man
I am a being of light
I cannot die!
"Can it be?! That a creature can deny a deity?! Dethroned from my own galaxy..."
No! I will shape my own destiny
You are one with my soul and I've shackled you inside of me
"You heretic! Have you no faith or remaining empathy?!
Remember my gift, have mercy, and let me be!"
You must not be free!

Serious aficionado level Prog/Tech Death.
The unique colors they bring to this record are not really heard elsewhere. They have forged their own sound and it’s totally badass. I guess The Faceless could be mentioned for reference of similar styles/tones.
They care for the song craft as much as the tasty Tech and Leads. It really is like everyone is saying....a perfect Metal experience. Salami Dick Death
Another scorcher from the phenomenal one-man black metal outfit STARER, with mind-flaying riffs and eerie tremolo-picked melodies. Bandcamp New & Notable Jul 31, 2023
I'm a big fan of The Faceless middle two albums and when I saw Lyle Cooper was on this album I knew I needed to check it out. I bought the discography almost instantly, reminds me a little of The Faceless and a bit more of Fallujah who I also adore. Well worth the money, Support these great Musicians! dragonslayer8228
