Our time is now
We've reached the surface
Your dominion draws to an end
Unaware of what lies beneath you
It's too late now
We are among you
To those who cross us now
You will surely fall
Feast upon their flesh
And assume them all
Now our plan begins
We are among you
We will guide you
To your own extinction
Taking the form of those in power
And spreading fear
Of your fellow man
They find themselves
In the final hour
Scraping to gather every defense they can
No structure
Disarray ensues
Pandemonium
No longer knowing what is true
Where is their dream
There is nothing they can do
They will never suspect
As we consume
And assume
Preying on the heedless
The taste of their flesh and power
As we grow our ranks
This kingdom will become ours
Assume control
Upon this new-found throne
Let us begin a new chapter
As we feast on their bones
As our battles grow dim
We question our enemies defeat
Wearing the skin of our foes
Becoming that which we eat
Pointing flesh-covered towards fingers towards one another
"You are among them"
An increased sense of paranoia
Is this battle truly won?
Premonitions foretold
Our sole purpose has been compromised
Our soldiers amidst a false civil war
Ripping apart their own disguise
To reveal our own demise
No structure
Disarray ensues
Pandemonium
No longer knowing what is true
Where is their dream
There is nothing they can do
They will never suspect
As we consume
Preying on the heedless
The taste of their flesh and power
As we thin our ranks
Was this kingdom ever truly hours?
Assume control
Upon this new-found throne
Let us begin a new chapter
As we feast on their bones

Since Spenser Moore replaced Blackburn I’ve frankly appreciated Inferi far more. I feel that his drumming improves the overall sound of the band a great deal, but it’s probably just a personal style preference. Either way, Of Sunless Realms was a great foreshadowing of the epic Vile Genesis. Metallurgical Fire
Another scorcher from the phenomenal one-man black metal outfit STARER, with mind-flaying riffs and eerie tremolo-picked melodies. Bandcamp New & Notable Jul 31, 2023

My first exposure to Inferi was seeing them live with Shadows of Intent. They were supporting this album.
Unbelievably awesome live show and the greatest possible way to discover this amazing band.
Love everything they produce. Obstacle of Affliction
